The Hungarian and Tunisian subsidiaries are assembly plants.
The subsidiaries in France, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Finland, Denmark, Italy and Spain are agencies that are responsible for the local sellers. Parent company Van de Velde NV continues to be responsible for billing customers in those countries.
The Dutch subsidiary holds the stakes in two retail subsidiaries Marie Jo Sarl and Marie Jo Gmbh as well as the US retail holding company Van de Velde Retail, the Dutch company Retail BV, the Spanish subsidiary Van de Velde Iberica and the Tunisian subsidiary Van de Velde Confection.
Van de Velde Iberica holds the stake in Eurocorset of Spain. Eurocorset has its own Spanish retail subsidiary Sul Tuo Corpo. Van de Velde Iberica acquired Eurocorset's shares on 20 June 2008.
Van de Velde Retail holds a 85% stake in multi-brand chain Intimacy Management.
The stake in Top Form International was raised from 16.37% to 23.31% in August 2008. Top Form International is one of the world's biggest bra producers (see www.topformbras.com for more information).
